Hi, everyone,

My doctor today gave me the path report from last week's surgery, and I have enough information to now talk about my medical problem. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer several weeks ago, and had a radical prostatectomy last week. Jerry Brown, John Kerry, and Colin Powell also have prostate cancer and appear to be doing well. I am doing much better than just a few days ago, and I am hoping that the surgery will be a cure. With prostate cancer, there is a high recurrence rate, but the cancer grows slowly so even if it comes back, I expect to live many more years.
